This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead a team of enthusiastic sales professionals who represent BMS integrity through approved disease and product information and resources.
• Develop and communicate a district vision that aligns with the goals of the organization.
• Evaluate performance metrics, market trends, and access dynamics within the market.
• Formulate strategic business plans to tackle challenges and seize opportunities.
• Exhibit expertise in BMS Hematology products, the Hematology marketplace, competitive offerings, and relevant disease areas.
• Demonstrate and mentor exceptional selling techniques as well as knowledge of products and disease states.
• Promote team member growth and development tailored to individual needs, motivation, and business objectives.
• Establish a culture of continuous learning where team members feel both challenged and engaged.
• Guide the team through transitions while maintaining a focus on current and future business demands.
• Collaborate within a matrix sales organization to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Travel to meet customers, patients, or business partners and participate in meetings as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
• Previous experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales or similar roles with a focus on leading high-performing teams is essential.
• Hematology experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of the Hematology reimbursement, access, and distribution landscape is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams to exceed expectations and goals.
• Proven success in selecting, developing, and retaining talented individuals.
• Prior experience utilizing analytical skills, selling skills, and cultivating strong business acumen.
• Familiarity with the market access environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence is required.
• Acceptable driving risk level as determined by the Company.
