Distribution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage requests for retirement plan loans and distributions.

• Relay request details to participants and plan sponsors.

• Create comprehensive distribution and loan packages from initiation to completion, including vesting verifications for daily record-kept plans.

• Detect loan defaults and mandatory minimum distributions (RMDs) from online sources or reports from plan sponsors.

• Assist participants, clients, and/or financial advisors with inquiries and issues related to distributions and loans.

• Inform account managers, management, and plan sponsors about requests and their progress.

• Act as a backup for the Nova participant services line.

• Interpret plan documents concerning loans and distributions.

• Serve as a backup for data entry tasks.

• Engage in ongoing training regarding loans, distributions, and other 401(k) topics.

• Stay informed about Nova's cybersecurity protocols and training.

• Build effective working relationships with vendors and plan sponsors.

• Carry out other related responsibilities as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and pursue objectives without supervision.

• Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities.

• Flexibility, adaptability, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Willingness to learn and dedication to professional growth.

• Must reside in the USA and have authorization to work for any employer in the US.

• Bilingual proficiency is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Corbel Documents & Pension Pro is a plus.

• Experience in the retirement sector is beneficial.

• Prior industry experience is not mandatory.
