Distribution Sales Executive, Diagnostics

📋 Description

• Take charge of the implementation of new Core Lab business across hospitals, reference labs, physician office labs, and government facilities.

• Collaborate with distribution partners to create revenue-generating growth solutions.

• Oversee the entire life cycle of new business opportunities.

• Work alongside customer decision-makers to enhance competitiveness and performance utilizing Abbott Diagnostics products.

• Propel substantial growth and new business initiatives.

• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate swift decision-making on complex matters.

• Establish and implement best practices while identifying customer insights.

• Foster market share expansion through the realization of new business opportunities.

• Aid in contract and business renewals.

• Cultivate trust with customers and distributor partners by comprehending both their immediate and long-term needs.

• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources effectively.

• Navigate intricate, long-term capital sales cycles.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree.

• At least 4 years of sales experience in the diagnostics, core laboratory, molecular, or medical device capital equipment sector.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Experience in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments, developing and selling tailored solutions to senior-level laboratory leaders and C-suite executives.

• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.

• Capacity to propose innovative ideas and drive them throughout the organization.

• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM applications; Salesforce experience is preferred.

• Results-driven; capable of anticipating sales deficiencies and implementing contingency strategies.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time, including overnight trips.
