This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Take charge of executing new Core Lab business across hospitals, reference labs, physician office labs, and government facilities.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to create revenue-generating growth solutions.
• Oversee the entire life cycle of new business opportunities.
• Work alongside customer-based decision makers to enhance competitiveness and performance utilizing Abbott Diagnostics products.
• Propel new business initiatives and achieve exponential growth.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite decision makers, to facilitate complex decision-making processes.
• Establish and implement best practices while uncovering customer insights.
• Drive market share expansion through new business opportunities.
• Assist with contract and business renewals.
• Cultivate trust and partnerships with customers and distributor partners.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources effectively.
• Navigate complex, long-term capital sales cycles.
• Travel 50–75% in the field, including overnight stays, across metropolitan areas on the Northeast coast.
• Associate’s degree.
• At least 4 years of sales experience in the diagnostics, core laboratory, molecular, or medical device capital equipment sectors.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Experience in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments, specifically in developing and selling customized solutions to senior-level laboratory leadership and C-suite executives.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Capability to propose and advance new ideas throughout the organization.
• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Results-driven mindset, with the ability to anticipate sales deficits and develop contingency plans.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
