Distribution Sales Executive, Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the implementation of new Core Lab business in hospitals, reference laboratories, physician office labs, and government facilities throughout the region.

• Collaborate with distribution partners to create revenue-generating growth strategies.

• Oversee the entire life cycle of new business opportunities.

• Work alongside customer-based decision makers to improve competitiveness and performance through Abbott Diagnostics products.

• Propel significant growth and pursue new business ventures.

• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate swift decision-making on complex matters.

• Establish and apply best practices while identifying customer insights.

• Enhance market share growth by realizing new business opportunities.

• Assist with contract negotiations and business renewals.

• Foster trust and build partnerships with customers and distributor partners.

• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources effectively.

• Navigate complex, long-term capital sales cycles.

• Travel 50–75% of the time for fieldwork, including overnight trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree.

• At least 4 years of sales experience in the diagnostics, core laboratory, molecular, or medical device capital equipment sectors.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Experience in capital sales and/or environments with multiple stakeholders creating and selling tailored solutions to senior laboratory leaders and C-suite executives is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and reviving an underperforming territory.

• Experience in innovation and change management.

• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience is preferred.

• Results-driven; capable of anticipating sales deficiencies and executing contingency strategies.
