This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Take charge of the execution of new Core Lab business in hospitals, reference laboratories, physician office labs, and government facilities within the designated region.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to create solutions that enhance revenue and promote growth.
• Oversee the complete life cycle of new business opportunities.
• Work alongside decision-makers at customer organizations to improve competitiveness and performance utilizing Abbott Diagnostics products.
• Identify strategies to foster exponential growth and generate new business.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to streamline complex decisions into rapid successes.
• Establish and implement best practices while uncovering new customer insights to propel business forward.
• Promote market-share expansion through the realization of new business opportunities.
• Assist with contract negotiations and business renewals.
• Cultivate trust and partnerships with customers and distribution partners.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources effectively.
• Navigate complex and protracted capital sales cycles.
• Travel 50–75% of the time, including overnight trips.
• Associate’s degree.
• At least 4 years of sales experience in the diagnostics, core laboratory, molecular, or medical device capital equipment sectors.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Candidates must reside within the territory.
• Experience in capital sales or a multi-stakeholder environment, focusing on developing and selling tailored solutions to senior laboratory leadership and C-suite executives.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including surpassing targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Capacity to introduce innovative ideas and effectively drive them through the organization.
• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
• Results-driven mindset, including the ability to foresee sales deficiencies and implement contingency strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
