This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Act as a reliable advisor and specialist to distribution and other partners.
• Develop collaborative and advantageous joint business plans alongside partners.
• Propel end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through data-driven sales initiatives.
• Clearly convey HPE's global and local business strategies for selling with, to, and through partners.
• Effectively communicate the HPE portfolio and solution value to distinguish HPE from its competitors.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with partners to expand HPE's market presence.
• Organize sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client interactions.
• Lead account mapping efforts with partners and HPE Sales teams.
• Direct HPE's strategy, programs, and systems in collaboration with partners.
• Persuade partners to enhance resources, including sellers and Solution Architects, focused on HPE.
• Customize HPE products, services, and technology partnerships to align with partner customer profiles and assigned quotas.
• Recruit and nurture new partner relationships as required.
• Observe partner sales environments to support pipeline development when necessary.
• Ensure partners are informed about and comply with HPE SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.
• A University or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Generally, 6+ years of sales experience at the end-user account or partner level.
• Proven experience in selling to partners within a complex environment.
• Experience with Distribution partners is essential.
• Strong understanding of current technology trends and related HPE strategies.
• Ability to influence partners and drive HPE's business value effectively.
• Solid grasp of business and financial principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HPE products and competitive advantages.
• Familiarity with partner industry trends, competitors, and channel dynamics.
• Knowledge of partner relationships and ecosystem frameworks.
• Proficient in negotiation and conflict management.
• Financial accounting knowledge, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and revenue forecasts.
• Ability to forecast sales accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
