This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Act as a reliable consultant and specialist for distribution and other partners.
• Develop joint business plans that are mutually advantageous with partners.
• Propel HPE’s revenue, profitability, and pipeline through data-informed sales initiatives.
• Communicate HPE’s global and local business strategies to effectively sell in collaboration with partners.
• Acquire insights into partner priorities, industry trends, IT environments, investment strategies, HPE objectives, and technology.
• Establish executive-level connections with partners to enhance HPE’s market share.
• Oversee sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client interactions.
• Facilitate account mapping alongside partners and HPE Sales teams.
• Represent HPE's strategy, programs, and systems on behalf of partners.
• Motivate partners to expand their sales teams, Solution Architects, and other resources for HPE’s offerings.
• Customize HPE products, services, and technology alliances to fit partner customer profiles and assigned quotas.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with new partners as necessary.
• Supervise partner sales operations to assist in developing the sales pipeline when required.
• Ensure that partners comprehend and adhere to HPE SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.
• A university or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Generally, 6+ years of selling experience at the end-user account or partner level.
• Experience in selling to partners within a complex environment is required.
• Must have experience working with Distribution partners.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current technology trends and associated HPE strategy.
• Skill in influencing partners and seizing sales opportunities.
• Understanding of business and financial principles.
• In-depth knowledge of HPE products and competitive landscape.
• Well-versed in the partner industry, trends, competitors, and channel dynamics.
• Capable of establishing relationships with partners and internal teams.
• Proficient negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with financial accounting concepts.
• Ability to forecast sales effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
