Distinguished Engineer – Dynamo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in the Dynamo open source project family.

• Act as a technical authority in AI inferencing.

• Represent Dynamo and NVIDIA to customers, partners, and the AI community.

• Spearhead critical projects focused on resiliency, performance, and scalability for Dynamo and AI inference.

• Develop and enhance Dynamo as a production-ready, data center-scale AI inferencing platform.

• Collaborate with various NVIDIA teams across storage, networking, hardware, and performance domains.

• Stay updated on AI/ML infrastructure technologies, frameworks, and effective strategies, advocating for their integration within NVIDIA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Over 18 years of demonstrated experience in systems software engineering.

• Proficiency in AI inference, including managing production inference systems at scale or working on inference engines.

• Experience as a senior technical leader with the capability to lead through influence.

• Strong programming skills in Rust, Python, and Go.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including complex systems analysis, bottleneck identification, and implementation of scalable solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with production-grade infrastructure, emphasizing observability, resilience, and operations.

• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on AI/ML systems technologies.
