Dispatcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Allocate same-day and urgent trips to third-party transportation providers.

• Organize and route trips according to schedule and location to maximize fleet efficiency.

• Provide assistance to transportation providers and drivers with issues concerning trip performance.

• Document and report instances of provider no-shows or issues with on-time performance.

• Notify transportation providers about new trip assignments.

• Create and sustain effective communication with transportation providers.

• Offer feedback to leadership and Fleet Management regarding transportation provider performance.

• Monitor on-road service delivery for quality assurance and punctuality.

• Plan and schedule next-day and future trips daily for the designated region.

• Organize and schedule trips to optimize vehicle resource utilization to meet demand.

• Communicate and escalate issues related to unscheduled trips as necessary.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Must reside in an approved state.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment.

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.

• Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Preferred knowledge of GPS and GIS systems.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented.

• Capability to meet deadlines and complete tasks promptly.

• Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.

• Must demonstrate effective use of scheduling software, two-way radio communication, and data analysis skills.

• Preferred experience of 2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling.

• 1 year of experience with the relevant transit scheduling system preferred.

• Must reside in an approved state; location requirements must align with the state of residence.
