This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as the primary executive owner of Salesforce and the overall commercial systems landscape.
• Develop and implement the Salesforce and commercial technology strategic roadmap.
• Position Salesforce as the central system of record for commercial operations, forecasting, and operational transparency.
• Manage and hold external implementation and consulting partners accountable for their contributions.
• Define and oversee commercial metrics, data standards, forecast categories, and criteria for sales stages.
• Promote data quality, governance, and adoption throughout Sales, Product, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
• Set standards for pipeline, opportunity, and data governance.
• Create and maintain a standardized forecasting methodology and operational rhythm.
• Develop and sustain reliable reporting packages for the board and executive team.
• Enhance pipeline visibility, opportunity health tracking, and analytics for sales performance.
• Align Salesforce reporting with Finance actuals and address any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Leadership to enhance forecast accuracy and mitigate forecast bias.
• Own and prioritize the roadmap for commercial systems.
• Assess and manage vendors and implementation partners based on established outcomes.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• 10–15+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or leadership in commercial systems, with direct oversight of enterprise forecasting and Salesforce.
• Have personally led an enterprise-wide sales forecasting process from start to finish.
• Developed and managed board-level and executive commercial reporting.
• Proven ability to repair a failed, low-adoption, or poorly governed Salesforce setup.
• Experience in reconciling Salesforce/Sales reporting with Finance actuals.
• Established standards for pipeline, opportunity, and data governance.
• Proficient in managing Salesforce architecture and integrations, including Salesforce administration oversight.
• Capable of influencing sales management behavior and operational discipline without direct authority.
• Experienced in managing and holding external implementation or consulting partners accountable.
• Exceptional communication skills at the executive level, with the ability to lead through influence across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Preferred: experience in selecting or implementing CPQ platforms.
• Preferred: experience with AI-driven workflow automation applied to commercial processes.
• Preferred: background in commercial or revenue operations within B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or clinical/life sciences technology.
