Director – Voice of the Customer Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement the global Voice of the Customer strategy to gather customer insights and impact product, marketing, communications, and go-to-market strategies.

• Establish key performance indicators for customer engagement, advocacy, content effectiveness, and business outcomes.

• Develop scalable programs aimed at identifying, cultivating, and maintaining long-term customer advocates.

• Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of Extreme's Executive Advisory Board.

• Recruit executive customer participants, create agendas, facilitate engagement, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

• Foster trusted relationships with executive customers to enable continuous collaboration.

• Build and manage a portfolio of written and video case studies, customer highlights, social media campaigns, executive interviews, event and keynote presentations, sales enablement materials, and customer references.

• Identify storytelling opportunities that showcase innovation, measurable results, and customer achievements.

• Collaborate with Sales and Field Marketing to engage customer advocates for strategic initiatives.

• Manage executive customer reference programs that support significant deals.

• Secure customer speakers for major events, webinars, and industry conferences.

• Incorporate customer insights and narratives into campaigns, product launches, executive communications, analyst engagements, and thought leadership efforts.

• Act as the primary coordinator for customer advocacy initiatives throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in customer advocacy, Voice of the Customer, customer marketing, communications, public relations, or enterprise B2B marketing.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing executive customer relationships and scalable advocacy programs.

• Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication abilities.

• Experience in developing customer content across video, digital, and social platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of Extreme's products, solutions, and the enterprise technology landscape.

• Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to influence within a highly matrixed global organization.

• Strategic insight into how customer advocacy can drive business outcomes.

• Capacity to manage multiple high-profile initiatives simultaneously.

• Proven success in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
