β’ Oversee the formulation and implementation of strategic growth initiatives.
β’ Link market opportunities, client requirements, and technical capabilities to foster sustainable revenue growth.
β’ Enhance market presence and fortify strategic partnerships.
β’ Progress the organization's technical service offerings.
β’ Take charge of growth strategies aimed at increasing revenue, market penetration, strategic account growth, and service adoption.
β’ Lead executive-level client engagement, strategic pursuits, and market development efforts.
β’ Recognize and respond to emerging market opportunities, client demands, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
β’ Collaborate with Commercial, Technical Directors, Practice Leaders, and People & Delivery leadership.
β’ Promote cross-selling, integrated service solutions, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives.
β’ Be accountable for growth performance, including pipeline development, win rates, revenue growth, profitability, client expansion, and strategic growth goals.
β’ Maintain a thorough understanding of technical capabilities, service offerings, quality standards, and strategic priorities.
β’ Identify new service opportunities, capability gaps, innovation priorities, and potential investments.
β’ Ensure that growth initiatives and business commitments are supported by adequate technical expertise, operational readiness, resource capacity, and delivery capabilities.
β’ Foster collaboration between commercial and technical leaders to create integrated solutions.
β’ Provide market intelligence, client feedback, industry insights, and competitive analysis.
β’ Advocate for technical thought leadership, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
β’ Facilitate teamwork among commercial, technical, operational, and corporate entities.
β’ Develop, mentor, and assist Growth Managers and commercial professionals.
β’ Cultivate relationships across practices, disciplines, regions, and functions.
β’ Collaborate with operational and technical leaders to ensure growth commitments are met safely, efficiently, profitably, and in line with client expectations.
β’ Support initiatives related to talent acquisition, succession planning, capability development, and resource planning.
β’ Encourage client focus, continuous improvement, innovation, professionalism, and effective communication with stakeholders.
β’ Ensure that client expectations are effectively managed from pursuit through to delivery.
β’ Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in engineering, science, architecture, construction, business, or a related technical field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in consulting, engineering, technical services, professional services, business development, or a related field.
β’ Proven track record of successfully leading strategic growth initiatives, formulating growth strategies, and achieving measurable revenue growth, market expansion, and business outcomes.
β’ Demonstrated experience in building and managing executive-level client relationships, strategic accounts, complex pursuits, proposals, and business development programs.
β’ Strong understanding of technical consulting, engineering, forensic, and professional services business models.
β’ Capability to align market opportunities with organizational strengths and client needs.
β’ Proficiency in collaborating with technical and operational leaders, developing and mentoring commercial professionals, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving results through strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership in a matrixed organization.
β’ Responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and converting growth opportunities into quantifiable business results.
β’ Ability to cultivate and maintain executive-level client and industry relationships.
β’ Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Competence in assessing revenue opportunities, profitability drivers, market conditions, competitive intelligence, business risks, and performance metrics.
β’ Ability to align and influence Technical Excellence, Commercial, People & Delivery, and corporate stakeholders.
β’ Leadership capabilities in developing commercial proficiency and organizational effectiveness.
β’ Possess executive presence, accountability, sound judgment, and disciplined execution.
β’ Ability to navigate complex business landscapes, manage competing priorities, adapt to evolving market conditions, and fulfill growth commitments and strategic objectives.
