This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement the annual Key Opinion Leader strategy within the designated area.
• Contribute to the U.S. Medical Aesthetics marketing plan through effective management of KOL relationships.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Commercial Directors to identify, manage, and strategize for area KOLs.
• Design and execute programs that educate and positively influence KOLs and healthcare providers.
• Develop and communicate market support that aligns with the approved product strategy and messaging.
• Work in partnership with Marketing, Strategic Communications, APC, Strategic Account, Sales, Allergan Medical Institute, Public Relations, MSL, and Global Commercial Development teams.
• Coordinate activities across all four U.S. Medical Aesthetics cash-pay franchises.
• Manage relationships with current KOLs, next-generation KOLs, and emerging leaders.
• Build relationships with decision-makers, thought leaders, and stakeholders to enhance Allergan’s visibility and competitive edge.
• Cultivate VIPs, speakers, trainers, and advocates while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Develop KOL plans that are in line with strategic and marketing business objectives.
• Create and maintain the TEN app or KOL tracking platform.
• Launch initiatives at key accounts and identify next-generation influential KOLs.
• Organize Market Insights Programs for targeted area KOL accounts.
• Identify area- and region-level opportunities and special projects.
• Strengthen product and portfolio opportunities with key customers in collaboration with sales teams.
• Attend significant industry society meetings, engage with area KOLs, and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
• Participate in around 10–12 society meetings annually and coordinate receptions, dinners, and symposia.
• Suggest speakers, content, and modifications to the agenda for society meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience and education is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven ability to devise and implement key strategies.
• Strong capability to foster relationships with physicians, AHCPs, society meeting leaders, and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in working effectively within a matrixed organization.
• Ability to mentor and develop first-line managers and emerging leaders through peer influence.
• Skilled in monitoring field activities and managing resources, budgets, expenses, and business operations.
• Willingness to travel 75% or more.
• Competence in establishing credible and effective customer relationships through strategic discussions and engagement.
• Ability to prioritize essential activities and relationships across all four Aesthetic Divisions.
