Director, Technical Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of technical program managers.

• Take ownership of and continuously enhance the technical program management operating model, standards, cadences, and methods of operation.

• Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and finance stakeholders to comprehend objectives and co-develop digital strategies.

• Work alongside the AVP to create and maintain a forward-thinking roadmap of digital capabilities.

• Act as a representative for technical program management across Digital and the broader organization.

• Engage in hands-on program work for complex and high-impact projects.

• Take part in and contribute to the spiritual life of the organization.

• Integrate World Vision’s core values into decision-making relevant to the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Alternatively, possess 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree requirement.

• Over 10 years of professional experience encompassing technical, business, and program or delivery management.

• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing individuals directly.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of technical program delivery, business operations, systems requirements, and the software development lifecycle.

• A history of building or enhancing a discipline, operating model, or practice.

• Strong ability to partner with business stakeholders, shape requirements, and translate goals into deliverables.

• Familiarity with IT program and project management.

• Proficiency in modern delivery methodologies such as Agile and tools like Jira.

• Capacity to align requests with a wider capability roadmap.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

• Preferred: experience in marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit/donor-facing technology.
