This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
β’ Oversee intricate, multi-year integration projects
β’ Formulate extensive integration strategies
β’ Propel application convergence and data migration initiatives in line with Capital One's long-term technological objectives
β’ Manage programs that achieve vital business objectives and large-scale products and platforms
β’ Cultivate the TPM discipline by demonstrating the potential impact of an effective TPM
β’ Create operational frameworks, maturity models, and tools across various portfolios
β’ Drive program roadmaps that are rooted in business aims, clearly defined outcomes, technical solutions, and sequencing of dependencies
β’ Lead cross-platform technical investment planning and ensure architectural alignment for platform convergence and reuse
β’ Act as an executive-level point of escalation for program-related risks
β’ Shape the decisions of technology leaders regarding data-driven trade-offs between speed, cost, and resiliency
β’ Establish quantifiable success metrics for platforms, including availability, scalability, cost efficiency, and developer velocity
β’ Guarantee accountability for delivery across multiple engineering teams
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
β’ Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing technical programs
β’ No sponsorship for new employment authorization or immigration-related support
β’ Preferred: Over 7 years of experience in designing and developing solutions utilizing distributed computing or service-oriented architecture (SOA)
β’ Preferred: More than 3 years of experience creating distributed systems and high-availability services using cloud computing technologies, ideally AWS
β’ Preferred: Over 3 years of experience in developing highly scalable products and platforms
β’ Preferred: More than 3 years of experience in Agile delivery
β’ Preferred: Over 3 years of experience in executing large and complex programs
β’ Experience in building systems and solutions in a heavily regulated environment
β’ MBA or a master's degree in a related technical field is preferred
β’ PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification is preferred
β’ At least 3 years of people management experience or experience in influencing an organization as an individual contributor
β’ Experience in promoting platform standardization across various product portfolios or lines of business
β’ Proven history of enhancing TPM maturity at scale within engineering organizations
β’ Outstanding communication and influencing abilities
β’ Capability to engage deeply with technical teams and articulate implications through persuasive business narratives
β’ Eligible to work without the need for new employer-sponsored immigration assistance
