This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Direct operational governance initiatives within Retirement & Wealth.
• Provide guidance to leaders on risk management, compliance, resilience, technology, data, records, and third-party obligations.
• Uphold governance frameworks, procedures, controls, documentation, and annual plans.
• Organize reviews, attestations, evidence collection, testing, remediation, audit responses, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor program progress, escalate risks and overdue actions, and ensure accountability for commitments.
• Oversee the execution of the Third-Party Risk Management and Vendor Management programs.
• Collaborate with business, finance, technology, procurement, risk, and compliance teams to enhance vendor oversight.
• Manage business continuity planning, resilience testing, recovery drills, and plan maintenance.
• Supervise governance for End User Computing Solutions, Process Criticality & Impact Risk Assessments, and associated operational risk initiatives.
• Guarantee that ownership, reviews, testing, approvals, records, and evidence are properly maintained in enterprise systems.
• Conduct records inventory assessments and promote information classification, retention, and lifecycle management.
• Create executive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Sustain program repositories, procedures, templates, training materials, and communications with stakeholders.
• Streamline and automate governance processes, enhance operational effectiveness, and support business onboarding and education.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships and exert influence within a complex organizational structure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in business operations, operational risk, governance, compliance, technology operations, vendor management, business continuity, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of operational risk, controls, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate cross-functional programs and achieve results through influence.
• Exceptional program management, analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
• Experience in designing governance processes, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Preferred experience in financial services, particularly in retirement, wealth, asset management, insurance, or banking.
• Familiarity with third-party risk, operational resilience, business continuity, data analytics, records management, audits, and regulatory examinations is advantageous.
• Preferred experience with governance or risk platforms such as Archer, Fusion, Ivalua, Process Unity, or SharePoint.
