Director, Talent Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of the short-to-midterm performance management strategy within a comprehensive talent system.

• Set KPIs, enhance performance standards, create continuous feedback mechanisms, and establish performance metrics.

• Design, implement, and refine the governance of calibration, performance reviews, inputs for performance standards, continuous feedback, and goal-setting frameworks.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to execute solutions throughout the teammate lifecycle.

• Work in conjunction with Total Rewards to align performance calibration and assessment with merit and bonus cycles.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, as well as People Insights & Analytics.

• Build relationships with Internal Mobility and Talent Planning to facilitate future-role development.

• Address challenges, introduce innovations, and communicate effectively with senior executives and frontline teammates.

• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Talent Management.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy development, managing a diverse array of strategic projects, scaled implementations, change management, and cross-functional leadership.

• Experience supervising a direct report while achieving results through a matrixed staffing structure.

• A proven history of shaping strategy, navigating uncertainty, and fostering alignment with executives and key stakeholders on ambiguous issues.

• Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale, multi-phased strategic initiatives, utilizing project management support to balance high-level vision with tactical execution.

• Ability to spearhead organizational transformation and foresee potential obstacles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.

• Familiarity with enterprise HRIS platforms, such as Workday.

• Experience in leveraging technology to enhance performance management solutions.

• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and converting insights into actionable strategies.

• A bachelor’s degree is required.

• A master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
