This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and continuously enhance SEI’s Talent Acquisition strategy, operational model, and service standards.

• Create an advisory recruiting function that aligns with SEI’s business model, academic calendar, financial priorities, growth objectives, and talent requirements.

• Implement consistent practices for intake, assessment, selection, offers, and closing.

• Collaborate with HR colleagues on candidate evaluations, assessment methodologies, structured interview tools, and calibration guides.

• Position Talent Acquisition as a trusted advisor to influence hiring decisions and sourcing strategies.

• Construct candidate pipelines for hourly, faculty, corporate, specialized, and executive positions.

• Advocate for Talent Acquisition funding and track return on investment.

• Identify gaps in the recruiting lifecycle that impact candidate depth, offer acceptance, and first-year turnover.

• Define and assess quality of hire and the standards for candidate and hiring manager experiences.

• Act as the business product owner for Workday Recruiting, managing system priorities, governance, adoption, data quality, and reporting.

• Collaborate with HR Technology on integrations, enhancements, vendor management, testing, and implementation.

• Lead the application of AI in recruiting to improve candidate pool efficiency, screening quality, and ensure candidate authenticity safeguards.

• Utilize LinkedIn and Indeed for building pipelines, conducting passive searches, and job advertising.

• Partner with senior leaders for executive and strategic hiring initiatives.

• Provide guidance to executives on search methodologies and recommend compensation strategies.

• Develop and maintain relationships with executive search firms.

• Oversee, coach, and mentor recruiters and contract recruiters.

• Integrate the recruiting team into the wider HR function.

• Collaborate with Compensation, HR Technology, and HR Business Partners on offers, leveling, and workforce planning.

• Monitor recruiting workflows, requisition distribution, workload management, and capacity planning.

• Establish policies, initiatives, benchmarks, and metrics for success.

• Enhance internal hiring processes and the experience for internal applicants.

• Own recruiting metrics, dashboards, reporting, and hiring forecasts.

• Manage recruiting agencies, vendors, background checks, and reference checks.

• Implement safeguards against fraudulent candidate activities and hiring risks.

• Utilize system capabilities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Over 8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including direct leadership over a complex TA portfolio.

• At least 3 years of experience in people leadership, including directing, hiring, coaching experienced recruiters, managing performance, and leading through change.

• Proven track record of effective partnerships with senior executive leaders.

• Significant experience in executive search.

• Advanced business acumen with the ability to translate organizational strategies into talent, engagement, and organizational development strategies.

• Demonstrated capability to function as a talent advisor and influence, advise, and coach senior leaders.

• Experience in formulating recruiting strategies and operational models.

• Ability to construct and defend business cases for talent investments.

• Mature leadership presence, seasoned judgment, and high integrity.

• History of managing and developing recruiting staff.

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and allocate resources effectively.

• Experience leading change management and organizational design initiatives.

• Proficient in using Workday as an applicant tracking system.

• Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and HireVue.

• Familiarity with recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems, sourcing and interviewing platforms, assessment tools, AI-enabled tools, or workflow automation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs arise.

• Capability to meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication demands.

• Willingness to work over 40 hours per week when business needs require it.

• Ability to access information using a computer.
