This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Act as the primary strategic partner to the Senior Vice President of Collaboration
• Manage the operating rhythm and resource allocation for the Collaboration division
• Oversee the development of the annual operating plan by aligning targets, resources, and investment choices
• Allocate budget based on strategic importance
• Lead planning for headcount and capacity based on anticipated demand
• Develop demand and pipeline coverage models
• Conduct scenario and contingency planning
• Manage territory analysis, definitions, and methodologies for annual goal-setting
• Build and guide a streamlined, high-performing operations team
• Safeguard sales representative capacity
• Lead change management initiatives related to sales from design through implementation
• Ensure the quality of CRM data and oversee the comprehensive sales tool suite
• Direct sales process design and manage analytics, deal administration, and vendor relations
• Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to ensure accurate, dependable pipeline and CRM data for forecasting
• Assist in market and segment prioritization, design of go-to-market models, and long-term roadmap planning
• Gather competitive intelligence and convert data into strategic recommendations for executives
• Offer data and insights for executive leadership team and staff discussions
• Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
• At least 4 years of experience in supervisory or people management roles
• Minimum of 8 years in sales strategy, planning, or sales operations within the enterprise technology or SaaS sectors
• Proven experience in managing annual operating planning, headcount/capacity planning, and pipeline/coverage modeling
• Proficient in using CRM systems like Salesforce for sales process design, data governance, and compensation plan development
• Preferred familiarity with the Collaboration/UCaaS market or related enterprise technology segments
• Experience in a specialist or overlay sales model is preferred
• Background in contributing to go-to-market strategies or competitive intelligence initiatives is preferred
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Capability to build models and transform complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills at the executive level
• Outstanding cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Skill in anticipating market strategy impacts and resolving complex issues with innovative solutions
