Director, Strategic Services

📋 Description

• Oversee business and administrative operations while enhancing operational procedures for maximum efficiency.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop work products and implement strategies for margin improvement.

• Formulate and execute growth strategies, maintain essential customer relationships, and engage in the sales process within the designated region.

• Ensure that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and responsibly, adhering to federal, local, and company regulations.

• Communicate consistently with the team and participate in leadership meetings as well as training programs.

• Guarantee compliance with company standards and FRA regulations.

• Assess and improve both internal and external operational processes.

• Make long-term decisions regarding operational infrastructure, processes, and procedures that align with growth objectives and financial targets.

• Foster relationships with the team and act as a trusted, confidential advisor to the C-suite and senior business leaders.

• Inspire staff to meet sales and organizational goals.

• Analyze company performance, predict enhancements, and propose strategies based on metrics and data.

• Work alongside management and stakeholders to secure capital and implement strategies for business expansion.

• Evaluate operational performance in relation to organizational objectives.

• Recruit and develop operational personnel; provide training and mentorship.

• Deliver constructive and timely performance evaluations.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Management.

• Over 5 years of experience in a senior operational role.

• Familiarity with rail maintenance and/or commercial construction operations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.

• Proficient in strategic planning and business development.

• Experience in budgeting and P&L management.

• Proven ability to lead, collaborate with teams, and implement changes effectively.

• Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to prioritize based on market demands.

• Outstanding planning and time management skills.
