This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Establish a sustainable business foundation that meets or surpasses revenue and order intake goals for designated strategic enterprise accounts.
• Drive new business development within the banking sector, including both banks and credit unions.
• Manage the entire sales pipeline on a daily basis: generate leads, qualify prospects, nurture opportunities, demonstrate value, deliver solutions, and finalize new business deals.
• Target major banking institutions and engage with executive-level decision-makers.
• Sustain and expand business relationships while acquiring new accounts.
• Conduct significant outbound calls to prospects and existing customers.
• Generate, achieve, and sustain incremental revenue by marketing GGS products and services within the assigned territory or accounts.
• Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, oversee the sales pipeline, and aid in closing key opportunities.
• Maintain connections with multiple stakeholders within client organizations and coordinate internal resources for product/service delivery and payment processing.
• Expedite the processing of sales order documentation.
• Address customer issues promptly and efficiently.
• Travel within the designated geographic territory as necessary.
• Reside in a major metropolitan area within the specified territory.
• Participate in trade shows and internal sales meetings as needed.
• Employ a consultative or solutions-driven sales approach.
• Report directly to the VP, Strategic Accounts - Financial Markets.
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of solution-based sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in sales within the banking industry is required.
• Proven track record of identifying and engaging decision-makers to drive sales outcomes.
• Organized, driven, and capable of adhering to a structured sales process while developing and implementing a sales plan.
• Ability to adopt a solution-oriented selling approach when interacting with C-suite executives.
• Strong skills in account management, negotiation, and closing deals effectively.
• Excellent business writing and communication abilities.
• Proficient in creating, modifying, and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
• Competent in using Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Experience in designing and negotiating sales proposals, including pricing calculations to achieve gross profit targets.
• Familiarity with banking core systems and teller platforms is a plus.
• Target commission: $120K.
• Target bonus: $80K.
