πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Define the vision, operational framework, investment priorities, and guidelines for Ryder's Salesforce ecosystem.

β€’ Develop the enterprise Salesforce strategy, roadmap, target-state architecture, organizational strategy, capability roadmap, and investment plan.

β€’ Lead and enhance the cross-functional Salesforce Center of Excellence.

β€’ Ensure accountability for platform health, security, reliability, scalability, licensing, release readiness, technical debt, and operational risk.

β€’ Implement access controls, auditability, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, privacy, regulatory compliance, and production change practices.

β€’ Foster relationships across business and technology sectors and translate competing priorities into enterprise-wide decisions.

β€’ Establish technical best practices, design principles, configuration/coding standards, and governance of architecture.

β€’ Oversee architecture and code/configuration evaluations and provide technical guidance and mentoring without being responsible for solution delivery.

β€’ Define reference architectures, integration/API patterns, identity and access models, master-data responsibilities, retention practices, and data-quality controls.

β€’ Lead the rationalization and consolidation of Salesforce instances, products, integration, data models, and customizations.

β€’ Assess releases and emerging capabilities through experimentation, architectural reviews, security assessments, and value-driven adoption decisions.

β€’ Act as Ryder's primary relationship manager with Salesforce, overseeing account planning, executive governance, licensing, renewals, negotiations, escalations, partnerships, and roadmap discussions.

β€’ Manage financial planning, forecasts, business cases, total cost of ownership, benefit tracking, vendor expenditures, license optimization, and investment trade-offs.

β€’ Promote cross-segment alignment, change adoption, communication, training, continuous improvement, and vulnerability remediation.

β€’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

β€’ Over 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience with accountability for enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing business applications.

β€’ More than 10 years of experience leading Salesforce or similar enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex, multi-business-unit setting.

β€’ At least 7 years of experience leading managers and/or senior professionals and influencing cross-functional teams beyond direct reporting lines.

β€’ Proven experience in establishing or significantly advancing a Salesforce Center of Excellence, platform operating model, governance, and portfolio management capabilities.

β€’ Minimum of 5 years leading Salesforce organization/instance rationalization or consolidation, including business process, data, integration, security, and change impacts.

β€’ At least 5 years in managing executive stakeholders, vendor/commercial negotiations, financial planning, and business case/benefit realization.

β€’ Advanced understanding of Salesforce multi-org strategy, platform architecture, environment strategy, lifecycle management, limits, and technical debt management.

β€’ Proficient in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, platform automation, analytics, and enterprise integration patterns.

β€’ Advanced knowledge of identity and access, data governance, privacy, security controls, auditability, resilience, and regulated enterprise practices.

β€’ Familiarity with product operating models, agile portfolio management, DevSecOps/CI-CD, release governance, IT service management, and support models is preferred.

β€’ Experience in vendor, licensing, commercial, budget, total cost of ownership, business case, and benefit realization management is preferred.

β€’ Knowledge of Data Cloud, AI/Agentforce, analytics, and emerging Salesforce technologies, including responsible adoption considerations is preferred.

β€’ Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder certification is preferred.

β€’ Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant domain consultant certification is preferred.

β€’ ITIL, product management, agile, architecture, security, or change management certification is preferred.

β€’ Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
