Director, Sales Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive training strategy for the Residential and Business Sales teams, which includes Inside Sales, Field Sales, and SMB.

• Create and execute structured sales training programs that align with the company's sales objectives.

• Manage onboarding processes, ongoing learning initiatives, coaching, and leadership development programs.

• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Operations, and Learning & Development stakeholders to address business priorities and performance gaps.

• Recruit, mentor, and oversee sales trainers, instructional designers, and training coordinators.

• Create training metrics and assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.

• Establish a sales coaching framework that supports ongoing skill enhancement and performance growth.

• Ensure comprehensive training on products, services, CRM tools, and other sales technologies.

• Develop engaging training content and promote innovative learning methods such as virtual learning, gamification, and role-playing.

• Lead the implementation of a multi-year sales training roadmap that aligns with the broader learning strategy and corporate objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Learning & Development, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or learning & development, particularly within Residential and Business Sales environments.

• More than 5 years of leadership experience in managing and developing teams.

• Demonstrated success in designing and executing sales training programs that enhance performance.

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, and Consultative Selling.

• Experience with learning technologies, including LMS platforms, virtual training tools, and analytics dashboards.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement and innovation.

• Experience in the telecommunications sector or similar subscription-based sales environments is preferred.

• Certification in sales methodologies, coaching, or instructional design is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and analytics tools for sales is preferred.

• Successful completion of background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks is required prior to hiring.
