This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of the design and implementation of a segmented go-to-market strategy for the EMEA region, focusing on both territory and named accounts.
• Mentor, hire, and develop Account Executives, Associate Account Managers, and Inside Sales Representatives.
• Foster pipeline generation, manage deal execution, promote career advancement, and ensure quota accountability within the regional team.
• Position and promote solutions including ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS, PLM, MES, Enterprise Cloud/SaaS, Data Science & Analytics, AI, and orchestration technologies.
• Provide coaching on solution selling tailored to the needs of scientific, operational, IT, and executive stakeholders.
• Spearhead pipeline development through user-base expansion, account-based marketing, cold outreach, referrals, partner leads, and events.
• Aid in complex multinational negotiations and facilitate the closing of high-value deals exceeding $1M in annual contract value (ACV).
• Establish strategic account relationships that align with scientific, technical, operational, and business goals.
• Collaborate with Siemens Digital Industries Software, related business units, industry sectors, and account teams.
• Cultivate relationships with systems integrators and technology partners to broaden outreach and enable co-selling opportunities.
• Execute a scalable enterprise sales framework and coach on best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, customer success, and channel teams to stimulate regional growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, automation, orchestration, and advancements in AI.
• Extensive sales leadership experience in Life Sciences, Specialty Chemicals, CPG, or related process/scientific sectors.
• Background in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or other relevant scientific disciplines, as well as experience in chemical/materials science or enterprise scientific, laboratory, or manufacturing software sales.
• Experience in Life Sciences/Pharma and at least one adjacent industry.
• In-depth understanding of the R&D-to-Tech-Transfer-to-Production digital thread.
• Working knowledge of ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS, PLM, MES, Enterprise Cloud/SaaS, Data Science & Analytics, AI, and orchestration platforms.
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to hire, coach, and develop sales representatives.
• Executive presence with the capability to align with senior leadership.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, including public speaking proficiency.
• Demonstrated success in individual and team sales performance.
• Experience in navigating and concluding complex, multinational, multi-agency contracts and relationships.
• History of selling to large enterprises with revenues exceeding $1B and/or cloud and service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to close deals larger than $1M in ACV.
• Proven success in team performance and quota achievement.
• Strong discipline in pipeline generation, including acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts.
• Collaborative experience across a large matrixed organization while leveraging systems integrators, technology, and channel partners.
• Strong organizational, process, project management, and program management capabilities.
• Metrics-driven, disciplined approach to sales methodology.
• Ability to employ first-principles problem-solving techniques.
