This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Propel the growth and utilization of Ameriprise Bank's banking and cash solutions within a designated territory.

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the territory.

• Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing advisors through one-on-one meetings, educational workshops, client events, and presentations.

• Assess advisor requirements, propose banking and cash management solutions, and encourage product adoption.

• Collaborate with product teams, marketing, field leadership, and other business associates.

• Share market insights, industry trends, and competitive updates.

• Travel across the territory to hold advisor meetings, facilitate training sessions, support client events, and represent the organization at national, regional, and industry gatherings.

• Utilize proprietary tools, customer relationship management systems, and sales analytics to discover opportunities, assess advisor practices, and improve sales efficiency.

• Oversee schedules, prepare for meetings, follow up on activities, manage budgets, and implement advisor recognition programs.

• Ensure compliance with necessary licenses, registrations, and regulatory standards through ongoing training and continuing education.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the financial services sector in a sales-oriented role.

• Extensive understanding of advisor business models, investment products, and financial services.

• Proficient in selling deposit and lending products, including checking and savings accounts, home lending solutions, securities-based lending, and credit card offerings.

• Active Series 7 license or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

• Active State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or the capability to acquire it within 90 days.

• Active State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% and reside within the assigned region.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce.

• Capability to learn and effectively position proprietary products and solutions.

• Experience in applying consultative sales techniques.

• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Skilled in addressing large groups and influencing diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment while juggling competing priorities and achieving results.
