πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the strategy for evidence generation in Cardiometabolic Health.

β€’ Convert scientific concepts into actionable strategies and solutions utilizing real-world data, analytics, and outcomes research.

β€’ Design and implement studies leveraging claims, health records, and tailored real-world data sources.

β€’ Collaborate with scientists and senior leadership on methodologies, implementation, and interpretation of real-world evidence.

β€’ Manage the operational execution of intricate studies.

β€’ Anticipate future requirements for real-world data and position Lilly as a leader in the field.

β€’ Leverage AI and emerging technologies within the real-world data workflow.

β€’ Develop federated and privacy-protecting data capabilities.

β€’ Link insights from real-world data to clinical trial design and regulatory strategies.

β€’ Ensure that data assets represent diverse and complex real-world patient populations.

β€’ Facilitate the integration of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from early clinical development through to commercialization.

β€’ Create and manage health outcomes research strategies for Lilly's portfolio compounds.

β€’ Act as a strategic partner on lead/core teams.

β€’ Formulate and implement patient-focused outcome, real-world evidence, and economic value strategies.

β€’ Develop impactful scientific initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

β€’ Apply knowledge of disease states and research methodologies to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access initiatives.

β€’ Establish strategic connections with internal and external decision-makers.

β€’ Lead the planning and implementation of evidence with cross-functional teams.

β€’ Convey health outcomes information to business partners, the scientific community, and customers.

β€’ Direct the dissemination of findings through abstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts.

β€’ Align and promote the application of research outcomes and deliverables.

β€’ Monitor advancements in disease states, HEOR methodologies, market demands, and environmental influences.

β€’ Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and scope.

β€’ Coordinate research efforts with cross-functional Lilly partners and external collaborators.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Doctorate (PhD, MD) in a relevant field such as economics, epidemiology, medicine, pharmacoeconomics, statistics, data science, or other pertinent sciences.

β€’ 5+ years of experience in developing, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects employing advanced methods and analytics.

β€’ 5+ years of practical experience with Real World Data.

β€’ High proficiency in statistical programming languages and software including R, SAS, or Python.

β€’ Capability to manage, harmonize, and analyze large-scale electronic health and/or administrative medical and pharmacy claims data.

β€’ Ability to convert research questions into program specifications.

β€’ Strong analytical and communication abilities.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

β€’ Capacity to influence and collaborate within and across teams.

β€’ Understanding of healthcare systems in at least one of the following: US, Europe, Asia.

β€’ Familiarity with healthcare delivery models and clinical research.

β€’ Technical and analytical skills in economic modeling, economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, patient-focused outcomes, real-world evidence, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, or healthcare policy.

β€’ Ability to drive research agendas to completion and facilitate dissemination.

β€’ Global perspective with a customer-centric focus and solution-oriented mindset.

β€’ Domestic and international travel may be required.
