This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Cultivate and sustain effective communication and relationships with clients and customers to meet their needs and expectations.
• Execute and oversee client objectives efficiently.
• Acquire knowledge of 360, including store mapping and retail goals.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the downstream team for the eastern and central regions.
• Inspire and develop Sales Managers and Unit Managers.
• Supervise and coordinate retail deployment to enhance retail effectiveness.
• Track progress and supply performance data by reviewing monthly turnover orders and store cadence.
• Conduct formal evaluations of Sales Managers’ and Unit Managers’ performance regarding sales and merchandising goals.
• Perform regular assessments to support ongoing personnel development.
• Lead the monthly Topps call with Customer Managers to discuss client objectives and goals.
• Collaborate with Senior Customer Managers to establish client connections and engage in retail ride-alongs.
• Assist Market Managers and Sales Managers in formulating staffing and manpower plans for retail operations.
• Analyze manpower planning and deployment utilizing DMS and RW3.
• Recruit and select Retail Sales Managers and Unit Managers.
• Create retail activity cost analysis to evaluate client profitability.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods sector.
• Familiarity with distributors such as UNFI or Kehe.
• Required experience in sales, marketing, merchandising, and/or administration.
• Strong office management and time management capabilities.
• Ability to influence and motivate individuals.
• Capacity to prioritize multiple demands simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience managing a Profit and Loss center.
• Assertive, decisive, creative, and a collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proficient negotiation skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Highly developed writing skills with acute attention to detail.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods, typically 6+ hours daily.
• Ability to use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged durations.
• Capability to lift and carry light items, generally 20+ pounds.
• Occasionally able to reach, bend, or stoop to access files or office materials.
• Ability to maintain prolonged focus and attention during desk-based work.
• Capability to follow clear instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions consistently throughout the day.
