Director, Real Estate – East Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, acquire, and promote real estate opportunities throughout the designated Eastern region.

• Further enhance the existing real estate strategy and playbook.

• Independently source and evaluate potential sites utilizing market intelligence, field insights, and internal selection criteria.

• Evaluate visibility, accessibility, area growth, competition, traffic patterns, and zoning regulations.

• Conduct site visits, grade locations, and document qualitative field assessments.

• Analyze trade areas along with proposed purchase and lease sites.

• Manage relationships with external brokers and developers.

• Provide regular updates on the acquisition pipeline and significant market trends to executive leadership.

• Monitor post-acquisition performance against anticipated returns.

• Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations on site evaluations to the Real Estate Committee.

• Supervise the negotiation of letters of intent and contracts for purchase or lease agreements.

• Manage contractual deal terms and ownership relationships through timely closing and development processes.

• Lead the preparation of Real Estate Committee packages, which include maps, competitive overlays, commentary, and scorecards.

• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Development, and Construction teams to complete due diligence and secure permits prior to closing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.

• Over 7 years of experience in real estate site selection, acquisitions, development, or brokerage, preferably in Development and Medical sectors.

• Demonstrated ability to independently and persuasively evaluate markets and site-level opportunities.

• Familiarity with the National Market is desirable.

• Strong negotiation and land acquisition abilities.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and mapping/GIS tools such as CoStar, Buxton, Placer.ai, and Definitive Health.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High integrity, discipline, and self-motivation; comfortable working independently in the field.

• Must reside within 1.5 hours of a major airport.

• 25% multi-state travel is required.
