Director – Quality Medicare Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of a multi-year, market-specific strategy for Medicare Stars performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess geographic market expansion opportunities for the Medicare business.

• Conduct research and formulate innovative plans for the Medicare Stars Program.

• Oversee the annual strategic planning process for Medicare spanning multiple years.

• Provide recommendations for potential new state and county markets for expansion.

• Cultivate cross-functional relationships to effectively implement business strategies.

• Manage network and sales channel development for new state expansions.

• Utilize the Medicare product strategy to improve go-to-market strategies across sales, marketing, and various markets.

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the successful implementation of new innovations.

• Facilitate the exploration of external partnerships to strengthen Medicare's strategic positioning.

• Assist with financial, sales, and operational reporting and analysis.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5 years of experience related to Medicare Advantage.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and executing new business strategies.

• Over 3 years of experience working within a Medicare Advantage environment.

• Strong financial and analytical expertise.

• In-depth knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Medicare Stars.

• Capability to convert complex data and evolving CMS requirements into practical strategies.

• Proficiency in aligning cross-functional teams and enhancing provider engagement.

• Ability to drive change and achieve business objectives through effective oversight and management of key stakeholders and owners.
