This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the primary contact for major Oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks concentrating on Oncology and Hematology.
• Position the company as an industry leader and a reliable resource while aiding healthcare partners and providers to enhance patient health outcomes.
• Oversee key accounts in Texas as a field-based account manager.
• Cultivate and sustain trust with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
• Navigate through challenging and unclear situations while prioritizing tasks and achieving deadlines and objectives.
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority during complex scenarios and promote collaborative problem-solving and consensus building.
• Supply authorized disease and product information to decision makers and stakeholders within accounts.
• Spearhead initiatives to optimize portfolio utilization and provide customer resources that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Tailor responses to customer needs utilizing approved company resources and messaging.
• Leverage knowledge of treatment decision factors, pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines, and quality initiatives.
• Utilize internal data and analytics to assess account performance and pinpoint engagement opportunities.
• Create and implement coordinated, long-term account strategies.
• Evaluate B2B purchasing factors, the competitive landscape, industry trends, and economic conditions.
• Coordinate local account teams to ensure contract execution and address contract-term inquiries.
• Develop strategic account approaches that align with approved marketing guidelines.
• Align brand strategies and tactics with customer needs and business objectives.
• Foster relationships with key decision makers, stakeholders, and influencers.
• Comprehend enterprise access points and the stakeholders who influence and operationalize access.
• Capture, disseminate, and communicate customer information internally using sanctioned tools.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience OR at least a high school diploma with 10 years of equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, sales, account management, or managed care.
• Equivalent experience may encompass professional sales, healthcare/scientific work experience, preferably in oncology, professional marketing experience, or military background.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Capability to develop and nurture meaningful relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders.
• Proven financial acumen with the ability to articulate the value proposition and negotiate when necessary.
• Strong grasp of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse cultures and disciplines.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional, matrix organizations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with local market relationships and customer insights is preferred.
• Current account management experience in large Oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks focused on Oncology and Hematology is preferred.
• Must reside within the Texas area.
