Director, Provider Technology and Innovation Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform analysis of Medicaid federal policies, market trends, and competitor activities to guide product strategy and innovation roadmaps.

• Evaluate target markets, competitive environments, portfolio positioning, and federal CMS and state regulations.

• Create business cases for new solutions that deliver value to Gainwell and its clients.

• Collaborate with engineering and business leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for technological advancement.

• Work in conjunction with the Provider Solutions team to enhance existing solutions through both organic and inorganic transformation.

• Manage strategy, workflows, and communications across Product, Engineering, Implementation, Delivery/Operations, Marketing, and Sales leadership.

• Generate and present executive reports on the vision, strategy, and financials related to technology and innovation.

• Supervise the advancement of technology and products from initial concept to delivery within the Provider portfolio.

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Provider Solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in technology consulting and/or strategy management.

• Significant exposure to product management, engineering, implementations, sales/marketing, and delivery processes.

• 5–8 years of experience in healthcare strategy consulting and product operations.

• Experience in the public sector is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.

• Highly organized, proactive, and discreet; adept at navigating uncertain situations.

• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Provider enrollment processes, and CMS regulations; relevant commercial experience is also acceptable.

• Capability to lead multi-year product technology and innovation roadmaps aimed at achieving measurable business transformation.

• Proven track record of successfully launching new products that contribute to net business growth.

• Experience managing multiple complex technology projects and guiding them from concept through to completion.

• Preferred expertise in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) solutions.
