This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute projects throughout the Americas to fulfill project objectives, satisfy customer needs, and support RTX’s strategic business goals.

• Create programs and manage projects, ensuring reporting, engagement with project managers, and delivery under established governance frameworks.

• Collaborate with Business Unit clients, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to define and accomplish project and program objectives.

• Formulate and implement action plans to address variances and proactively respond to client requirements.

• Oversee third-party project management resources.

• Engage and supervise both internal and external project management resources.

• Direct all phases of project management, including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closeout.

• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk effectively.

• Develop project engagements with Business Unit partners utilizing the Variable Project Management model.

• Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.

• Oversee the procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout of contracts.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting for Business Unit clients and the Facilities Project Delivery organization.

• Manage relationships with third-party outsourcing and vendors.

• Lead and manage the department and its staff.

• Mentor and cultivate a high-performance team through recruitment, selection, training, development, coaching, evaluation, and retention.

• Willingness to travel up to 40%.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 14+ years of experience in the construction industry and/or real estate development.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), Operations, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.

• 14+ years of experience managing multiple large-scale facilities or real estate development and construction programs/projects across all stages of project management.

• 10+ years of proficiency in project financial terminology and principles, with the ability to analyze complex business and financial data and create innovative solutions.

• 10+ years of experience in identifying complex project risks, leading constructability reviews, developing mitigation and contingency plans, and executing risk-reduction measures.

• Strong technical aptitude is essential.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including MS 360, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, and overseeing additional team members or consultants.

• Demonstrated ability to manage changes in project scope, identify risks and opportunities, and create contingency plans.

• Experience conducting post-project evaluations and formulating recommendations for process, tool, and resource enhancements.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• An active and existing security clearance is required from day one.

• Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise-level software systems such as PeopleSoft and Workday.

• Preferred: Ability to tackle advanced problems and navigate complex situations with multiple options available.

• Preferred: Willingness to travel up to 40%.
