Director, Product Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the comprehensive training strategy for Technology Solutions.

• Manage the planning, design, and execution of timely training sessions for customers.

• Lead a global team comprised of training specialists and eLearning developers.

• Mentor team members, assist in project prioritization, identify growth opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.

• Observe and assess trainers; offer coaching and constructive feedback.

• Create, lead, and prioritize training initiatives that align with the company’s objectives.

• Oversee major project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

• Manage the budget for the Training department, including monthly forecasting and revenue projections.

• Enhance training processes and resources.

• Ensure that staff are trained on Advarra products they support, test, or develop.

• Collaborate with PMO and Product Support Managers to staff implementation-related training events.

• Assess training needs for both internal staff and customers.

• Develop or tailor training programs for Technology Solutions customers and staff.

• Create and initiate training services to enhance the customer training experience.

• Conduct customer surveys and refine training based on feedback and evaluations.

• Work with other teams to address knowledge or skill deficiencies.

• Evaluate training facilities and recommend appropriate training rooms for onsite sessions.

• Suggest best practices for virtual training environments.

• Prepare and present content at Onsemble conferences.

• Assess L&D tools and products.

• Identify on-demand training opportunities and prioritize e-learning initiatives.

• Ensure training materials are in compliance with Advarra and marketing branding standards.

• Collaborate with Documentation and Marketing to promote training services.

• Provide insights to Product Management and assist in prioritizing development based on user experience.

• Stay updated on trends, research, and innovations in adult learning.

• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in corporate training or adult education.

• Over 7 years of experience in delivering instructor-led training.

• Experience in software training.

• Proficient in software troubleshooting.

• Experience in creating e-learning or other training media.

• Background in developing curriculum and training materials.

• Strong writing, speaking, and listening skills.

• Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills; comfortable addressing groups of 10–200 people.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Supervisory and management experience.

• Ability to strategically prioritize projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation.

• Ability to regularly lift, raise, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs.

• Competency in learning and understanding basic instructions.

• Focused attention to tasks and responsibilities.

• Effective verbal communication; skilled in listening, understanding, responding, and speaking.
