Director, Product Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the comprehensive training strategy for Technology Solutions.

• Oversee the timely and effective planning, design, and delivery of customer training.

• Supervise global training specialists and eLearning developers; mentor, prioritize projects, support development efforts, and conduct performance evaluations.

• Observe and assess trainers, providing constructive coaching and feedback.

• Develop, lead, and prioritize training initiatives that align with company objectives.

• Manage significant project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Administer the Training department budget and monthly forecasts; ensure revenue targets are achieved.

• Enhance training processes and resources for better effectiveness.

• Ensure staff are trained on Advarra products they support, test, or develop.

• Collaborate with PMO and Product Support Managers to staff implementation-related training sessions.

• Assess training needs for internal staff and customers.

• Create or tailor training programs for Technology Solutions customers and staff.

• Propel the development and launch of new training services.

• Gather customer feedback through surveys to improve training offerings.

• Work with teams to address gaps in knowledge or skills.

• Evaluate training facilities and recommend appropriate training rooms for onsite sessions.

• Suggest best practices for conducting virtual training.

• Prepare and deliver presentations at Onsemble conferences.

• Assess learning and development tools to enhance team efficiency and customer experience.

• Identify on-demand training opportunities and prioritize e-learning projects and schedules.

• Ensure training materials adhere to Advarra branding and marketing standards.

• Collaborate with Documentation and Marketing to promote training services effectively.

• Provide insights to Product Management to help prioritize development based on user feedback.

• Stay updated on adult learning trends, research, and innovations.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven experience in corporate training or adult education.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering instructor-led training.

• Experience with software training.

• Proficiency in software troubleshooting.

• Experience in creating e-learning or other training media.

• Background in developing curriculum and training materials.

• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities; comfortable addressing groups of 10–200 individuals.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Supervisory and management capabilities.

• Ability to strategically prioritize projects.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods at a stationary workstation.

• Capacity to regularly lift, carry, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs.

• Ability to learn and understand basic instructions.

• Focused attention to tasks and responsibilities.

• Skills in verbal communication, listening, understanding, responding, and speaking.
