This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
β’ Oversee the complete delivery process of payment products, guaranteeing timely, high-quality, and scalable releases.
β’ Enhance ACH, RTP/FedNow, wire transfers, and international payments.
β’ Determine efficient routing to ensure transactions settle using the most cost-effective and swift available methods.
β’ Test stablecoin settlements as a viable alternative to correspondent banking where the cost and speed advantages are evident.
β’ Collaborate with Compliance, Risk & Treasury on tokenized rails, reserve verification, sanction checks, transaction costs, settlement, and reconciliation.
β’ Assist in the advancement of product architecture alongside Engineering, which includes APIs, workflows, and integrations.
β’ Foster strong alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
β’ Take responsibility for product performance, encompassing KPIs, revenue impact, portfolio expansion, and customer results.
β’ Contribute to product positioning, pricing strategies, and the go-to-market approach for Payments & Cards offerings.
β’ Build and guide a high-performing product team that emphasizes accountability and execution discipline.
β’ 7+ years of experience in product leadership with extensive knowledge in payments and card issuing in the US and Canada.
β’ Strong expertise in cross-border payments, as well as credit and prepaid card solutions.
β’ In-depth understanding of cross-border payment processes, tokenized payments, authorizations, settlements, and reconciliations.
β’ Proven track record with payment rails, money movement, or financial services APIs.
β’ Solid comprehension of operational and regulatory complexities.
β’ Strong technical proficiency in APIs, integrations, and platform architecture.
β’ Demonstrated capability to drive business outcomes through effective product strategy and execution.
β’ Highly analytical and data-driven with excellent commercial insight and product judgment.
β’ Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
β’ Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth settings with a strong sense of accountability.
β’ Experience with Platform-as-a-Service or embedded finance platforms is a valued bonus.
β’ Background in fraud, risk, and compliance product domains is preferred as a bonus.
β’ Familiarity with AI/LLMs in payments or product automation is advantageous as a bonus.
