This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and commercial success for First Due’s public safety software platform.
• Convert intricate product functionalities into enticing customer value.
• Empower Sales and Customer Success teams and promote market adoption across Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire Prevention, Community Risk Reduction, and Emergency Management sectors.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving product marketing team.
• Create and sustain a segmentation strategy for both current market focus and future market investments.
• Formulate distinct product positioning and messaging tailored to public safety markets.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to refresh the First Due narrative and modernization story.
• Spearhead go-to-market strategies for product launches, feature rollouts, pricing adjustments, and enhancements.
• Shape roadmap prioritization through market insights, customer feedback, win/loss analyses, and competitive research.
• Manage competitive intelligence across key competitors.
• Develop launch plans that align Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive stakeholders.
• Translate technical capabilities into customer advantages for executive, operational, and frontline audiences.
• Produce sales enablement materials including battle cards, presentations, demo narratives, objection handling resources, and customer-facing collateral.
• Construct messaging frameworks for digital campaigns, website content, demand generation, webinars, trade shows, analyst relations, and customer communications.
• Develop customer personas, journey maps, and market segmentation strategies.
• Assess launch effectiveness, campaign performance, pipeline influence, product adoption, and customer engagement in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Marketing Analytics.
• Utilize AI tools for content development, competitive analysis, messaging refinement, and go-to-market planning.
• Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
• 8+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience with progressive responsibility.
• 3+ years of experience leading product marketing strategy for enterprise software solutions.
• Proven success in launching enterprise SaaS products and facilitating market adoption.
• Proficient in developing positioning, messaging, pricing support, and go-to-market strategies for complex software platforms.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise software buying cycles and multi-stakeholder purchasing processes.
• Experience in supporting Sales organizations through enablement content, competitive positioning, and product education.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong storytelling capability with a track record of translating technical concepts into customer-oriented messaging.
• Proven history of leading a high-performing marketing team.
• Experience in conducting competitive analysis, market research, and win/loss analysis.
• Familiarity with using product adoption metrics, pipeline data, and campaign performance to guide strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple product launches concurrently.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance marketing efficiency, content creation, and market research.
• Preference for candidates with public safety, GovTech, or highly regulated B2B software experience.
• Familiarity with Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, or local government technology markets is an advantage.
