This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Lead and nurture a Procurement team dedicated to Technology & Product.
β’ Own and manage the procurement strategy, supplier ecosystem, and sourcing roadmap across technology and product sectors.
β’ Collaborate with executive and senior leaders from Technology, Product, Engineering, Data, Information Security, IT, Finance, and Legal.
β’ Spearhead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations for software, cloud services, licensing, AI, data, and global technology services.
β’ Develop commercial frameworks that encompass licensing models, consumption commitments, pricing, ramp schedules, price protections, service levels, and performance metrics.
β’ Utilize spend, demand, utilization, benchmarking, and supplier-market analyses to pinpoint optimization and rationalization opportunities.
β’ Work closely with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders regarding contractual, regulatory, cybersecurity, and third-party risks.
β’ Serve as a strategic advisor for Procurement to Technology & Product leadership.
β’ Enhance enterprise-wide procurement standards, tools, and methodologies.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, vendor management, or a similar commercial role.
β’ Significant oversight of technology or product categories.
β’ Proven experience in leading teams and developing Procurement professionals within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
β’ Extensive knowledge of SaaS and enterprise licensing, cloud and consumption-based pricing, data, AI, infrastructure, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and professional services.
β’ Demonstrated success in leading high-value, complex negotiations and formulating category strategies for critical technology suppliers.
β’ Strong financial and analytical skills, including total cost of ownership, demand and utilization data, benchmarking, and unit economics.
β’ Capability to translate technology roadmaps, architectural considerations, and business needs into sourcing and supplier strategies.
β’ Strong executive presence with the ability to influence Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and C-suite stakeholders.
β’ Experience utilizing analytics, AI, automation, and procurement technology.
β’ Familiarity with sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, technology, financial services, or another regulated industry is advantageous.
β’ May be required to secure a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment.
β’ Guidance and support through the gaming license process, if applicable to the role.
