This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish the strategic direction, operational model, annual delivery roadmap, governance, escalation procedures, and decision-making frameworks for SCADA projects.
• Identify operational risks, organizational constraints, and scaling obstacles, while owning mitigation and growth strategies.
• Represent the SCADA Program in executive forums, leadership planning, and company-wide strategic initiatives.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner at Terabase for a portfolio of large, complex projects from inception to delivery.
• Act as the customer advocate across portfolio and project execution, customer success, and quality assurance.
• Facilitate execution-oriented workshops aimed at enhancing customer experience.
• Collaborate with Sales on submissions for deal review committees and account growth.
• Lead and cultivate a global team of managers, project managers, coordinators, and analysts.
• Manage task and resource prioritization, performance management, and compensation evaluations.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, organizational design, and team operational rhythms.
• Champion the adoption of the SCADA Project Management playbook.
• Standardize FAT preparation, design-and-operations readiness reviews, and project delivery tracking across FNE, Met, and SCADA products.
• Oversee the Project Delivery technology stack, including Cora, NetSuite, and Arena.
• Enhance operational efficiency through automation and AI technologies.
• Ensure that performance, RMA/warranty, and KPI dashboards deliver real-time visibility into the portfolio.
• Manage the SCADA Program's P&L, encompassing project margins, portfolio profitability, revenue recognition, and resource utilization.
• Take ownership of annual planning, budgeting, revenue forecasting, and initiative prioritization.
• Develop financial cases to support operational decisions.
• Supervise client billing, collections, and project procurement processes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Legal on contract reviews and MSA negotiations.
• Monitor portfolio schedules and produce the bi-weekly SCADA program report, along with KPI updates for leadership.
• Close the feedback loop on client survey results.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, energy, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years in project or operations management within solar/renewable energy, heavy construction, energy, or similar sectors; SCADA experience is favored.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, including managing Managers or cross-functional teams and remote, international personnel.
• Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen: ROI analyses, budgeting, and cost/pricing models.
• Experience managing executive customer relationships, MSA negotiations, and delivering on scope and SLA commitments.
• Practical experience with ERP and/or PLM systems, such as NetSuite and Arena.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the capability to influence at various levels and across functions.
• Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily to US-based project sites.
• PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems, grid controllers, and Met stations is advantageous.
