Director, PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a team of Technical Project Managers, Program Managers, and Engagement Managers.

• Establish and promote the adoption of standardized PMO methodologies, processes, tools, and governance.

• Oversee the implementation of project portfolios to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and meets scope.

• Drive project forecasting, resource allocation, capacity planning, and staffing strategies.

• Monitor Professional Services metrics, including revenue delivery, utilization, project profitability, time-to-value, CSAT, and project health.

• Lead escalations, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and development of recovery plans.

• Create a premium project management approach tailored for large enterprise implementations.

• Collaborate with Services Operations and Sales on pipeline forecasting, project scoping, SOWs, change orders, and resource planning.

• Facilitate team training, lessons learned, postmortems, and change management initiatives.

• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of project documentation, reporting, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.

• Partner with Services Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Project Management, Professional Services, PMO, or a related field, with progressive leadership experience.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing project management teams.

• Strong grasp of PMO governance, project methodology, resource planning, forecasting, and delivery operations.

• Experience in managing complex SaaS, technology, or enterprise implementations.

• Strong business acumen with a track record of managing revenue, utilization, profitability, and other operational KPIs.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience collaborating with Sales and Services teams on scoping, SOWs, and pre-sales activities.

• Ability to lead through change and establish scalable processes in a high-growth environment.

• Familiarity with professional services project management platforms.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
