This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement a tailored business development strategy aimed at cultivating new client relationships, securing repeat engagements, and generating referrals.
• Collaborate with VMG leaders to enhance current accounts and introduce comprehensive advisory services across multiple disciplines.
• Spearhead healthcare partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, physician alignment, investor transactions, and related initiatives from strategy formulation through to closure.
• Provide guidance to executive leadership and governing boards regarding strategic options, governance, transaction preparedness, financial implications, and considerations for implementation.
• Manage financial models, market assessments, valuation inputs, due diligence coordination, negotiations, and planning post-closure.
• Act as the executive engagement leader accountable for quality, profitability, client satisfaction, and successful results.
• Mentor consultants and managers, while aiding in the recruitment, development, and retention of consulting talent.
• Contribute to practice strategy, intellectual capital, thought leadership, and the creation of new services.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or healthcare strategy.
• Proven track record of leading intricate healthcare transactions and advising executive leadership teams effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in business development with a successful history of initiating and expanding consulting engagements.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Capability to manage multiple complex engagements while leading high-performing teams.
• Willingness to travel as required based on client needs.
• Preferred: MBA, MHA, CPA, CFA, or a similar credential.
• Preferred: Established connections among healthcare executives, physician leaders, private equity firms, attorneys, and investment bankers.
• Preferred: Experience providing advisory services to hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, ambulatory providers, and healthcare investors.
• Preferred: Knowledge of valuation, reimbursement, physician alignment, financial due diligence, and healthcare regulatory considerations.
