This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and implement reimbursement and health economics services for Fortrea clients.
β’ Act as a knowledgeable strategic consultant and advisor for reimbursement-related endeavors.
β’ Collaborate with customers, healthcare providers, payers, and government entities on policy issues.
β’ Operate independently and alongside Business Development to pinpoint and attract potential clients.
β’ Recruit, mentor, delegate tasks to new personnel and independent advisors, and conduct performance evaluations.
β’ Promote and sell Fortreaβs health economics and reimbursement offerings.
β’ Draft and assess proposals, work orders, contracts, and responses to RFI/RFPs.
β’ Generate client deliverables such as white papers, abstracts, journal articles, presentations, and PC-based sales tools.
β’ Establish and execute reimbursement and economic evidence strategies for both new and existing products.
β’ Track changes in reimbursement policies from government, private payers, AMA, and other healthcare stakeholders.
β’ Represent Fortrea through educational resources, webinars, podcasts, and presentations.
β’ Drive the growth of the health economics and reimbursement consulting sector.
β’ Formulate and lead business development strategies, bid defense preparations, and presentations.
β’ Manage client expectations, satisfaction, relationships, proposal strategy, and content effectively.
β’ Consult with internal subject matter experts and functional areas.
β’ Engage with leadership to implement cross-business initiatives and expand operations.
β’ Assist in defining and executing the MDD vision, strategy, initiatives, and priorities.
β’ Oversee portfolio growth and delivery while ensuring consistent quality.
β’ Align resources with current and anticipated workload.
β’ Contribute to commercial, operational, reimbursement, and scientific leadership.
β’ Act as a senior strategic consultant and principal advisor to clients and MDD teams.
β’ Prepare clients, sites, and teams for regulatory inspections and participate in these inspections.
β’ Develop and deliver reimbursement training for clients and Fortrea staff.
β’ Perform other duties as required.
β’ A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public health, public policy, law, clinical science, health services research, or health economics.
β’ Relevant and equivalent experience may be accepted in place of educational qualifications.
β’ Significant experience in developing and executing reimbursement strategies within the medical device industry or as a consultant at Fortrea or in a comparable setting.
β’ A minimum of 12 years of related work experience is preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel to meet clients.
β’ Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to adhere to project timelines.
β’ Travel requirements of 20β30% of the time, with 75% of travel necessitating an overnight stay.
