This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and engage new potential donors while fostering strong donor relationships.
• Create and execute a donor cultivation strategy tailored for the designated region.
• Advocate for Christ-centered growth and transformation among current and prospective donors.
• Articulate Edify’s mission through compelling verbal and written communication.
• Develop strategies to forge new connections, enhance donor involvement, and inform donors about field initiatives.
• Aim to raise $150,000 in the first year, with the goal of doubling to $1 million by the fifth year.
• Broaden the donor base in the region through proactive initiatives.
• Organize and lead 2–3 donor vision trips each year.
• Oversee a cost-effective regional development budget and associated expenses.
• Collaborate with the development team and engage in regular development calls.
• Participate in annual global meetings and program update discussions.
• Access and utilize program activity data in Salesforce while collecting program data and impact narratives.
• Monitor donor relationships and document cultivation efforts in Salesforce.
• Attend the annual all-staff meeting and Development Team Retreat.
• Undertake regular regional and domestic travel, along with 1–3 international trips per year.
• Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and dedication to Edify’s mission.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or similar fields.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Proven networking skills with a strong ability to follow through.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and public communication skills.
• Willingness and capability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
• Self-motivated and driven individual.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience or knowledge in international development, community development, or microfinance is highly desirable.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is necessary.
