This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Develop and spearhead the organization's comprehensive total rewards strategy.
• Direct the design, governance, administration, communication, and evaluation of compensation initiatives utilizing Workday HCM and the Workday Advanced Compensation Module.
• Provide strategic direction for employee benefit and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in People Solutions, Finance, Legal, and business units on total rewards initiatives and program modifications.
• Counsel leaders on intricate and sensitive issues related to compensation and benefits.
• Track external market practices, regulatory changes, workforce trends, and professional services benchmarks.
• Conduct compensation benchmarking and market intelligence activities.
• Manage the Job Architecture that supports job categorization and career advancement within the firm.
• Supervise vendor and external partner relationships.
• Establish governance, controls, processes, documentation, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with HRIS, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, and other teams to enhance processes, data, systems, and employee experiences.
• Leverage workforce, compensation, benefits, and financial data to assess programs and aid executive decision-making.
• Lead major Total Rewards initiatives and transformation projects.
• Create communication strategies and materials for compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards programs.
• Represent the firm in external professional forums, surveys, networks, and benchmarking activities.
• Lead, develop, mentor, and retain Total Rewards professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Manage sensitive employee, compensation, benefits, and business information with confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits, total rewards, human resources, or a related field.
• No professional certification or license is required.
• Proven experience in progressively responsible leadership roles overseeing complex compensation and/or benefits programs.
• Demonstrated experience in formulating enterprise-level strategies.
• Background in executive consultation and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in leading professionals or teams.
• Relevant certifications in Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, or human resources, such as CCP, CEBS, or similar certifications are preferred.
• Experience within a large, complex, multi-state, professional services, accounting, consulting, financial services, or similarly structured organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday HCM and the Workday Advanced Compensation Module is preferred.
• Ability to function effectively in a complex, matrixed organization and influence decisions across diverse functions and leadership groups.
