This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of healthcare providers, hospitals, and health system accounts.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with clinical engineering directors, facilities and supply chain leaders, clinical department heads, and C-suite sponsors.
• Explore opportunities for connecting InterMed leaders across client relationships.
• Collaborate with Operations on quarterly HTM business reviews that cover KPIs, equipment inventory, compliance metrics, and year-to-date cost savings.
• Oversee contract performance relative to SLAs and KPIs while proactively addressing service gaps.
• Take ownership of retention outcomes, annual retention and renewal targets, and account-specific retention strategies.
• Serve as the escalation point for client issues and coordinate timely resolutions with service delivery, operations support, and field-based technical teams.
• Identify client tasks performed by OEMs, third-party vendors, or internal staff that could be transitioned to InterMed.
• Construct cost-savings business cases by comparing client expenditures with InterMed pricing.
• Organize transition plans for migrated services to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Lead contract renewal processes, encompassing pricing discussions, scope expansion, and term negotiations.
• Monitor and report on revenue, margin, cost-to-serve, and cumulative savings for clients.
• Maintain account documentation, equipment inventories, and service records within InterMed's Document Management, CMMS, and CRM systems.
• Advocate for the client's voice internally to enhance service delivery, staffing, and process improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in healthcare technology management (HTM), clinical engineering, biomedical equipment services, or medical device sales and service support.
• Knowledge of hospital/provider procurement, accreditation standards (Joint Commission, DNV, CMS, CLIA, AAAHC), and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
• Previous experience managing contracts with established SLAs and financial/margin accountability.
• Ability to create and present a cost-savings business case that compares client OEM/third-party expenditures with a managed-service program and quantifies potential savings with InterMed.
• Experience in leading renewal negotiations and implementing structured account retention plans.
• Capability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly presenting performance data to both technical and executive audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), HubSpot (CRM), Service Now Nuvolo (CMMS), and Artificial Intelligence platforms.
