This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and safeguard Team Outsider's physical infrastructure across its nationwide campground network.
• Execute capital projects within the established timelines and budget constraints using Team Outsider's project management framework.
• Define, prioritize, budget, schedule, and implement capital projects effectively.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, risks, changes, decisions, and milestones.
• Provide General Managers with project-related guidance, frameworks, tools, coaching, and support.
• Ensure that campgrounds are safe, dependable, guest-ready, and in line with Team Outsider's standards.
• Identify and prioritize infrastructure issues that impact safety, operations, and guest satisfaction.
• Evaluate utilities, drainage systems, structures, roads, and other vital infrastructure components.
• Formulate long-term infrastructure strategies that balance guest experience, operational risks, and financial objectives.
• Assist in property acquisitions by conducting thorough infrastructure due diligence.
• Assess drainage, utilities, structural systems, environmental issues, permitting requirements, and capital risks.
• Offer leadership with insights, cost implications, risks, and investment decision points.
• Enhance General Managers' project leadership skills and delegate suitable projects.
• Foster relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, municipalities, inspectors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify qualified vendors and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Navigate permitting and regulatory processes across various states.
• Clearly communicate project expectations, scope, timelines, and deliverables to vendors, holding them accountable.
• Leverage technology and AI to enhance project management, documentation, communication, and decision-making processes.
• Refine project processes, templates, tools, and systems across the expanding portfolio.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience managing comparable projects or working in an engineering firm.
• Extensive experience leading commercial construction, infrastructure, facilities, or capital improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of utilities, drainage, structural systems, permitting, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing projects across multiple locations or diverse operating environments.
• Proven track record in managing project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Willingness to travel roughly 25% to support properties and acquisitions.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management qualification (preferred).
• Experience in campgrounds, hospitality, resorts, or multi-site property management (preferred).
• Experience in supporting acquisitions and conducting infrastructure due diligence (preferred).
• Flexible remote work options.
• Approximately 25% travel to support properties and acquisitions.
