This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take ownership of the topical/authority roadmap, technical standards, off-page allocation, and GEO/AEO direction for HIP and Neon Canvas.
• Manage rankings, traffic, and organic lead outcomes by vertical, as well as partner retention for both brands.
• Combine the SEO methodologies, tools, and quality assurance processes of HIP and Neon Canvas into a unified operating model.
• Handle escalations, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and represent the function's interests to leadership.
• Oversee the service line's profit and loss (P&L), pricing and packaging strategies, utilization and capacity management, as well as growth and expansion initiatives.
• Conduct pre-sales scoping and provide support to sales as the SEO expert during pitches and proposals.
• Manage organizational design, leveling and career pathways, compensation band input, succession planning, onboarding, and learning & development.
• Supervise vendors, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), including SEO tools and plugin work; manage the budget, risk, compliance, and brand safety at scale.
• Drive innovative strategies such as Reddit/community engagement, AI-search visibility through GEO/AEO, LLM citation tactics, and content automation.
• Lead AI enablement initiatives across SEO teams, tools, workflows, and training sessions.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with each Team Lead for coaching, performance reviews, and removing obstacles.
• Personally engage with at-risk or underperforming partners while Team Leads manage the rest.
• A minimum of 2+ years as a Director of SEO or in a comparable role at an agency of similar scale, managing multi-client SEO across over 500 accounts.
• Proven experience in unifying SEO efforts across two brands or logos into a cohesive operating model.
• Over 6 years of experience in SEO, encompassing technical, content/on-page, off-page/links, and local/GBP strategies.
• Agency or multi-client experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in the orthodontic or dental field is an advantage.
• At least 2+ years of experience leading other managers, not just individual specialists.
• Strong proficiency in measurement tools (GSC/GA), modern SEO tools, and emerging GEO/AEO strategies.
• Demonstrated ability in change management and experience in merging or standardizing teams.
• Commercial acumen, including understanding delivery margins, utilization, growth, and experience in collaborating with sales teams.
• Exceptional communication skills with executives and stakeholders.
• Must reside in the US.
• Must be available for work from 8 am to 5 pm CST, Monday through Friday.
