SEO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in SEO and organic search.

• Oversee a portfolio comprising 4–6 SEO accounts.

• Foster client relationships while managing projects and deliverables.

• Develop and implement strategies, innovations, and performance enhancements for various client SEO initiatives.

• Lead regular status updates and reporting calls as the main SEO contact.

• Simplify complex SEO strategies and execution details for clients in an accessible, jargon-free manner.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients.

• Convert channel strategy into actionable, time-sensitive tactical roadmaps.

• Create and sustain content systems, including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links, and supporting schema.

• Focus on performance-driven initiatives and scale authoritative content.

• Investigate emerging trends in search and AI technologies.

• Analyze performance data, recognize trends, assess initiative impacts, and formulate actionable strategies.

• Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency setting.

• 3 years of relevant marketing/SEO experience is required.

• More than 5 years of experience is preferred.

• Previous background in a performance marketing agency.

• Practical experience in optimizing for AI search, including hands-on testing and experimentation.

• Capability to develop and implement SEO strategies across diverse industries.

• Ability to link SEO results to measurable business outcomes.

• Expertise in content strategy grounded in audience, keyword, and competitor analysis.

• Skill in crafting content briefs for content teams.

• Proficient in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

• Comfortable in building client relationships, establishing expertise, and representing SEO engagements.

• Strong project management and time management abilities.

• Willingness to adapt and continuously enhance skills.
