This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the sales operations for the Americas region and achieve profitable growth within the MedTech Solutions portfolio.
• Report directly to the Vice President, Commercial - MedTech Solutions.
• Manage and nurture Global Key Account Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Business Development professionals.
• Lead strategic account planning, new business initiatives, cross-selling, pricing strategies, value capture, pipeline management, and forecasting.
• Maintain active engagement with strategic customers while fostering a high-performing sales team.
• Enhance penetration of strategic customers, focus on targeted share gains, cross-selling opportunities, and disciplined new business acquisition.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for sustainable, profitable growth across customers, applications, and markets.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in accounts.
• Coordinate account management across various geographies, product lines, sites, and functions.
• Set priorities and KPIs for the development of new customers, programs, and applications throughout the Americas.
• Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Product Management on target markets, applications, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
• Ensure the quality and execution of the Americas opportunity pipeline and sales forecasts.
• Lead the regional sales forecasting to support financial forecasting and SIOP.
• Monitor metrics such as sales growth, pipeline development, win rates, share gains, forecast accuracy, pricing performance, and execution of account plans.
• Enhance CRM utilization, sales analytics, forecasting, quoting, reporting, and commercial processes.
• Foster a culture centered on customer focus, accountability, collaboration, urgency, and disciplined execution.
• Provide coaching in account management, value selling, negotiation, application knowledge, and business development in the field.
• Attract, develop, motivate, and retain top-tier commercial talent.
• Partner with Product Management, Strategic Marketing, Commercial Operations, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other MTS functions.
• Establish and uphold pipeline reviews, account plan reviews, cross-functional commercial reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly business and account reviews, along with individual coaching and performance reviews.
• TekniPlex MTS serves the medical device and related healthcare markets with materials, essential components, and contract development and manufacturing solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required.
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the MedTech sector.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Experience in selling technically differentiated products, components, materials, or manufacturing solutions to medical device OEMs.
• Strong comprehension of the requirements, applications, product-development cycles, regulatory, and commercialization processes relevant to medical device OEM and CDMO customers.
• Experience with medical polymers, precision extrusions, critical components, assemblies, or related technologies is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in strategic account management, account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, sales processes, and commercial execution.
• Experience in leading organizational or commercial transformations and implementing sales processes across previously independent teams or businesses is strongly preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Capability to translate market, customer, pipeline, and financial data into actionable commercial strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Commercial Operations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, technical procedures, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ability to compose routine reports and complete timecards and work orders.
• Skilled in presenting information effectively to employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical operations and applying algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Capable of solving practical problems, interpreting instructions, defining issues, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Ability to meet specified physical demands, including standing, walking, handling objects, and frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
