Director of Sales – Market Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Establish initial contact with potential clients through cold calling and outreach initiatives.

• Follow up with prospects at different stages within the sales funnel.

• Showcase and articulate the value proposition of products and services to prospective customers.

• Analyze data to uncover trends and shape sales strategies.

• Stay informed about company products and industry advancements.

• Maintain a well-organized database of contacts.

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with external partners and internal teams.

• Address customer complaints and engage in negotiation processes.

• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Familiarity with multifamily, hospitality sales, or property management is desired.

• Understanding of HOA management software and industry standards is a plus.

• Additional education or experience in outside sales and lead generation is advantageous.

• Proficient knowledge of company offerings and current industry trends.

• Capability to manage multiple leads simultaneously while pursuing new prospects.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Skill in identifying client needs and navigating the negotiation landscape.

• Strong time management skills.

• Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office and CRM software.

• Capacity to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as necessary.

• Capability to lift or move items weighing up to 10–15 pounds.

• Willingness to work a standard schedule, with some extended hours as required.
